My interests and specialties include trauma and its manifestations in the mind and body, anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, and the complexities surrounding suicide ideation in adult and teenage clients. I have extensive experience and interest working particularly with young adult populations (18-25) and LGBTQIA+ populations.

My role as a counselor is to help you explore and make meaning of your experiences and to understand the complexities of your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. During this process, we together find ways to help you alleviate the burdens you carry and to life at your fullest potential.

My counseling approach functions under the belief that you are the expert of your own rich, complex, and diverse experiences. I work diligently to understand the unique experiences of my clients as individuals and to maintain awareness of collective experiences of a diversity of cultural, belief, and value systems.
